The Senior team came 5th and Masters teams from Rhoose Lifeguards came 6th in the National Surf Lifesaving Championships held at Tolcarne Beach, Newquay from August 20-23.
In the Seniors events, the ladies squad came 4th, the mens 6th, with several national titles between them.
In the Masters events, the team of 5 all returned with both individual and team medals.
Masters:
The Masters team of 5 won 16 medals, made up of 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze. They were placed 6 overall.

Karen Harris - 40-44 - 1st Board, 1st Ski, 1st Ironman, 2nd 1KM, 2nd Sprints, 1st Flags
Simon Parker - 40-44 - 3rd Ironman
Gareth Harris - 45-49 - 3rd Ironman
Steve Edgerton - 50-54 - 1st 1KM, 3rd Sprint
130+ Ski Relay - 3rd
50+ Double Ski - 2nd
Seniors:
The Seniors team won 7 medals, made up of 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze. They came 5th overall.
