RHOOSE LIFEGUARDS WELSH CHAMPIONS 2009
After two days of competition at Porthcawl, and a day at Aberporth for the Masters, Rhoose retained the overall aggregate and Wilikson Sword Trophy.
Rhoose retained both the Junior Aggregate and the Ski Aggregate (each for the 5th year running), and with the Masters Aggregate (50 points), Juniors Aggregate (50 points) that means the Senior Team came 2nd - which is also a great result when you consider the size of the team. Congratulations to all those that took part - hopefully you got a reward for your hard work and dedication in training. Good to see both individuals and teams pushing not just for medals but for the lower places as well. It's all about doing the best you can, and having fun as well, which I hope you did. Thanks as always to all parents and helpers - none of this would be possible without your dedication and commitment fetching, carrying and financing your children's training and competing throughout the year.
And finally thank you to all club coaches and officials - your voluntary efforts in training and running the club, towing trailers, maintaining equipment and craft and fund-raising are also critical to the success of the club. Thank you.
