Tuesday night mal
training has started now though there will be a valuable member
of Rhoose's squad missing. Our very own Coops has started a quest
for yet another trophy. Another? Yes another but not in Surf Lifesaving.
The multi-talented World Champion lifeguard powerhouse we all
know as Dave Cooper has, it turns out, always had flair for dancing!
Dave is currently practising hard in preparation for the upcoming
auditions for the next series of BBC's Strictly Dance
Fever. The current series is on Saturday nights at the mo. Apparently
Dave's a bit of a natural. Perhaps Dave will be starting a class
soon at the clubhouse? They say dancing is good for core-stabilty,
nothing wrong with a bit of cross training I suppose! Good Luck
Coops!

Didn't we do well!
We've had a brilliant season here at Rhoose with loads of excellent
results at competitions by nippers, juniors, intermediates, seniors
and masters alike. Go Rhoose! The juniors did exceptionally well
at the 2005 Welsh champs winning the junior aggregate with the
club coming third overall too. The juniors also came fourth at
the British Youth Champs finishing as the top Welsh club.
Junior squad memberTanara O'Neill had a tremendous result in one
of her races at the British Senior Champs. She came third in the
mal race beating all the senior Welsh women and was only beaten
by two British Team members, both of whom went on the win medals
at the European champs. Nice one Tanara
More sucess at the Welsh Open Ski and Surf boat race at Cardiff
Bay back in September. Rhoose won overall bringing home some more
red dragon trophies for the club house. Congrats to all the parents who recently did their bronze. Everyone
passed. Well done!
