Chinese New Year Celebrations |

Rhoose Lifeguards will be celebrating the
Year of the Tiger
Saturday 13th February with a Chinese New Year Dinner and Valentine's Dance.
Start time is 6.30 pm,
Venue is Stewart Road Community Centre.
Tickets will be £8 and £5 for under 12s. This will include a drink on arrival, starters, a selection of main course, with rice (Thai, Chinese and a Vegetarian Option)
Entertainment will be provided by the fantastic Magician and Entertainer Mr Frank E Haschka.

A Bar will be laid on and Mr Tim Moss will be organising games for the children.
This is a fundraising event for the Club so friends and family are very welcome - the more the merrier! The evening is intended to be a very informal family night and hopefully the early start time will encourage the younger families to join in.

To All Juniors and Nipper Juniors
Teg Young and Sky Morham have organised a Rhoose Lifeguard trip to Alton Towers on Thursday 18th February 2010
Those who have confirmed they are going on this trip please bring £26 with you on Wed or Friday .

The cost of the trip includes entry to the park and Coach hire and the Coach will leave Tesco Carpark in Barry at 7.30am and return about 8.00pm
Dawn Morham (sky's Mum ), Mandy (Teg's Mum ) Norman Young ( Tegs Dad ) and Teg's mum's sister will be supervising the trip and further details will be confirmed

Rhoose Lifeguards received a thank you letter this week for their organisation of the Rhoose Community Carol Service held in December last year that raised £234.00 and donated over 100 Christmas presents to the N.S.P.C.C.
Rhoose lifeguards would like to thank all Rhoose organisations who helped with a very enjoyable evening.
