Ten Rhoose members make Wales Team |

Following the series of ranking events, 10 members of Rhoose Lifeguards have been selected for the Wales team for the Celtic Cup.
They are Lana Evans, Lucy Curtis, Simon Perry (Captain), James
Grandfield, Eloise Neighbour, Storm Morham, Robbie Thompson, Rhys Perry, Charles
Grandfield and Luke Giddings.
Rhoose are providing 10 of the 24 strong team. Congratulations to all. |

Rhoose Nippers 2nd at 2008 Welsh Ocean Champs |

Rhoose Lifeguards Nippers section came an impressive 2nd at the Welsh Ocean Championships held at Newport Pembs. on July 12/13 2008.
In total, the team returned with 30 medals - 5 Gold, 12 Silver, 13 Bronze including 4 team medals.

Rhoose win Llantwit Nipper Carnival |

Rhoose came 1st in the Llantwit Major Nipper Carnival held at Barry Island.
Despite strong winds and lively waves, the Rhoose team excelled themselves both on the beach and in the water. Congratulations to all competitors, coaches and parents for a great team effort.

Rhoose 6th at GB Junior Stillwater Champs, 1st Welsh Club |

Congratulations to the small team of 11 that came 6th at the GB Junior Stillwater Champs held at Bath on March 30th. The team were the top placed Welsh team.
The 7 medallists were:
- James Grandfield (U19) - Gold 50m Manikin Carry, Silver 100m Manikin Carry with Fins, Bronze Rescue Medley, Bronze 200m Obstacles.
- Rhys Perry (U15) - Silver 200m ObstaclesLana Evans (U19) - Bronze 200m Obstacles
- Medley Relay (U16) - Bronze (Rhys Perry, Charlie Grandfield, Alex Varney, Robbie Thompson)

Rhoose win Stillwater Mini League |

Staged over three Sunday evenings in January, February and March, the Rhoose 'A' team came first overall in the SLSA Wales Stillwater Mini League at the Aberavon Pool. The other Rhoose teams came in 14th and 20th. Congratulations to all swimmers and coaches involved.
